The Film Place – Buckingham’s own cinema, organised and run by local volunteers, which shows the latest films two or three times each week.
University of Buckingham Concerts & Lectures - A series of regular lunchtime classical music concerts are held in the Radcliffe Centre, and evening lectures are hosted in the University’s Chandos Road building.
Other traditional events in addition to occasional Art and Craft exhibitions and Music and Drama Festivals include the May Day celebrations and Music in the Market (May), the Teddy Bears’ Picnic (June), Bonfire and Fireworks (November) and the Christmas Parade.

Charter Fairs
Held on two consecutive Saturdays in October, a traditional fairground in the town centre commemorates the charters given by Mary Tudor in 1554 and Charles II in 1684.
